Most often, what pushes people to seek the help of God through prayeris the problem of life. “Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.” Again the scripture says, “Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.” (Job 14:1, 5:7). How the earth God designed to be a paradise for man turned to become a paradise of trouble shows that man cannot run away from troubles. Hence took time to search the scriptures to see if I can find divine remedy for troubles of life – that antidote is Prayer and nothing else.
This portends that Prayer is not just a mouth exercise, but a code for living effectively. If it is a survival weapon, prayer is therefore a universal need of mankind since everyone wants to survive and to live effectively. Therefore anyone who cannot pray is doomed for life. Also, a prayerless ministry is both powerless and profitless. This inevitable place of prayer yet undermined by many has triggered me to make this book my souvenir to mark the 30 years anniversary of our church, Aroma Word assembly Inc.
